More Happy Than Not Tag

I was nominated by the amazing Erika (great name btw) to do the “The I Am More Happy Than Not Tag”. Thank you so much for tagging me!

So What’s This Tag About?

The I Am More Happy Than Not Tag was created by Shelumiel @ Bookish and Awesome but originally made in response to the “What makes you #MoreHappyThanNot?” question inspired by Adam Silvera’s upcoming debut More Happy Than Not.  Basically highlight ways you’ve been able to express happiness from the things—big and small—in your life.

There are only three simple rules: (1) answer the question “What makes you more happy than not?”, (2) link back to this post (so I can read your entry) or to the person who tagged you, and (3) have FUN.

When reading I am more happy than not.

Sitting out on the pier during summer just breathing in the air and enjoying nature makes me more happy than not.

Getting new books in the mail makes me more happy than not.

Spending time with my friends, gossipping and laughing until our sides hurt makes me more happy than not.

Whenever one of the hundreds of amazing authors I follow on twitter sees my tweets and responds, it makes me more happy than not.

When someone likes or comments on one of my blog posts it makes me more happy than not.

That first cup of coffee in the morning makes me more happy than not.

Proving to myself that I am physically capable of doing something makes me more happy than not.

Whenever my wife unselfishly shares one of her winnings with me it makes me more happy than not, and I hope I will be able to repay the favour soon.

Losing myself in music and just happily bopping along to great tunes makes me more happy than not.

Cuddling with my baby girl (cat not actual baby) makes my heart melt and the rest of me more happy than not (the same goes for all pets in my life).

Going for a swim makes me more happy than not.

Just wandering around a forest makes me more happy than not.

Any day where my knee doesn’t hurt makes me more happy than not.

Being alive makes me more happy than not.

  1. Aaah, thank you for doing and spreading the Tag, Erika! YES TO COFFEE! And losing one’s self in music please. Also, I so can relate with the author interaction; this never actually gets old. And of course, reading and bookish mail shouldn’t go unsaid.
