This was a really cute story and I did enjoy it. It is book #5 in a series, but you do not need to read the other books to read this. The length is also ideal if you are looking for something short and sweet. There is some drama, but mostly it’s very fluffy and it’s like eating a marshmallow. All soft and fluffy and makes you feel warm inside.
Melanie is a lovely character. She has had no luck at all when it comes to love and finally she breaks down and entrust her love life to her best friend and roommate. Mel refuses to acknowledge the attraction she has for Matt, the receptionist at her work, and instead focuses her attention on other men. Easier said than done though. Especially since Matt keeps hitting on her.
Since it is a short story, the plot is kind of rushed. I would actually have loved if the story had been longer. But it’s sugar sweet and was a lovely read.
Do I recommend it?
If you want some romance, then this book is for you.
